When hearing the word ‘dyslexia’ some people think stupid or slow. Here at the Codpast we’ve done our research, and you’ll be surprised to know that many creative, talented and even beautiful people have dyslexia. If you don’t believe us, you will be astounded by the list we’ve come up with below:

10. Alyssa Milano
The talented actress is known for her role in the hit supernatural TV series Charmed as Pheobe Halliwell, not only that she is the modelling influence of the Disney princess Ariel in The Little Mermaid. She is also known for her work as a philanthropist, being known as the Founding Ambassador for the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases (GNNTD). Recently she has released a viral video called Funny or Die raising awareness about the civil war in Syria.
9. Mollie King
As one of the singers for the British girl group, The Saturdays, she has had twelve Top-Ten and seven Top-Five singles on the UK Singles Chart. Not to mention she has opened her own clothing line under the Oasis label, called Loved by Mollie. She is also signed on to Next Model Management, joining fellow celebrities such as Alexa Chung and Lana Del Rey. Mollie has also created shoes in order to raise money for the charity Save The Children. She is also known to be the “Miss Disney” of the girl group, since she is known for her “posh” and “smiley” attitude.
8. Florence Welch
The lead singer for the British Indie band, Florence And The Machine, she has won awards such as the Brit Award for Best Album in 2010. In 2012 her band recorded the theme song, Breath Of Life, for the film Snow White and the Huntsman. The band has had positive reviews for both Lung and Ceremonials. Currently Florence and her band are working on their third album.
7. Joss Stone
With her soulful voice and relaxed vibe, she has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album, at only 27 years old in 2005. In 2010 she created her own record label, Stone’d Records. She has performed all over the world such as Indonesia and the Philippines.
6. Kara Tointon
This talented actress is known for her role as Dawn Swann, in EastEnders. However she is also known for her performance in season 8 of the TV series Strictly Come Dancing. She went on to win the season with her partner, Artem Chigvintsev. Last month she took part in the Great North Run to raise money for the charity Share A Star.
5. Holly Willoughby
Known for presenting shows such as Dancing On Ice, The Voice UK, The Xtra Factor, Holly Willoughby is one of Britains most famous presenters. She is currently presenting the ITV daytime show, This Morning, alongside Philip Schofield. Not only that, she will be presenting the third season of a revival of the show Surprise Surprise, for ITV.
4. Liv Tyler
Daughter of Steven Tyler, Liv Tyler was launched into fame by such films as Armageddon and by playing the Elvish princess, Arwen in The Lord of the Rings. Tyler also is a spokeswoman for Givenchy Perfume and Cosmetics and has modelled for companies such as Pantene and Maybelline. She currently plays Megan Abbott in the Sci-Fi drama The Leftovers.
3. Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek rose to fame in the 1990’s with such films as Desperado’s, From Dusk to Dawn and Dogma. Frequently topping lists on magazine poles for being attractive, such as 8th of the 100 Sexiest Women, #31 in Stuff magazine’s “102 Sexiest Women in the World” and #12 in FHM magazine’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World”. Salma has recently worked on films such as Grown Ups 2 and Puss In Boots, as the voice of Kitty Softpaws.
2. Keira Knightly
One of the most famous British women in the world, Keira Knightly is known for her role, as Elizabeth Swan, in the world’s most famous movie franchise, The Pirates of the Caribbean. Her career began with her appearance in the Star Wars series, as Sabé. Since then she has appeared in many different films such as The Duchess, Pride and Prejudice, Love Actually, and Anna Karenina. Recently Keira has starred in the musical drama Begin Again.

Voted as the “Sexiest Woman of the Century” by People magazine, Marilyn Monroe has the most iconic face in the world, and will probably be known for it for years to come. She was discovered at a very early age, when she was still modelling for swimsuits. Eventually she began to star in films such as Don’t Bother To Knock, Niagara, and The Seven Year Itch. She won and was nominated for many awards such as the BAFTA’s and The Golden Globes. Marilyn Monroe will be known for years to come as America’s most famous sex symbol in the world.
